How to run deep research in ChatLite
Deep research mode investigates a question end to end and returns a structured, cited brief. Here is how to run one in ChatLite.
Steps
- Start a deep research run: Open deep research and enter your question or topic.
- Add context (optional): Upload files so the research draws on your internal documents alongside live web sources.
- Assign models to roles (optional): Choose which model handles the planner, researcher, verifier, and writer roles.
- Run and monitor: ChatLite plans a search path, gathers and compares sources, and you can cancel or watch progress.
- Review the cited brief: Read findings, risks, and recommended next steps, with citations and source quality next to each claim; give feedback with upvote/downvote.
Tips
- Be specific in your question so the planner can scope the run.
- Upload primary sources rather than summaries so the researcher works from the originals.
- Check the citations before sharing the brief.
